*No experience is necessary and no need to bring a partner! We will be rotating partners in class.
What’s included in each class:
Beginners lessons: We will be going over the basics of 6 and 8-count Lindy Hop (the more technical term for swing dancing) and give you a series of moves and a simple routine that you can practice and play around with on the dance floor.
Intermediate lessons: Make sure you know your way around a simple 8-count swing out so you’re prepped for this class. Here, you’ll learn some fun footwork variations for your basics to try out on the dance floor. We’ll also be deep diving more into establishing a strong connection between your lead and follow – which is the recipe for a flow-tastic dance with your partner.
Advanced lessons: This is for our dancers that are more skilled on the social dance floor and can easily find flow and connection through their partner dances. Make sure you got all your basics down and you can easily establish a grounded connection with your partner. Here, we’ll explore how to find your own style and variations in Lindy Hop, and how to play around with the music to made your dances burst with musicality and be a LOT more fun. This is where your creativity truly starts to shine!
